Visiting the Store

Where is American Occultist located?

Our physical store is at 422 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.

What are your store hours?

We are open Monday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. We are closed Sunday.

What do you carry in the store?

Inventory may include crystals and minerals, books, jewelry, apparel, ritual tools, herbs, incense, statues, altar supplies, gifts, and other specialty merchandise. Availability changes as products sell, restock, or rotate.

Online Orders, Shipping, and Pickup

How quickly are online orders processed?

Most orders are processed within one to two business days. Carrier transit time begins after the order has been processed and transferred to the carrier.

How much is U.S. shipping?

U.S. Economy shipping is $9.99 for eligible orders under $75 and free for eligible orders of $75 or more when those rates are shown at checkout. The threshold is calculated after discounts and before tax. Oversized, restricted, or destination-specific orders may have different options.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship to select international destinations when a shipping option is available at checkout. The buyer is responsible for applicable import duties, taxes, brokerage charges, or other destination fees.

Do you offer local pickup?

Local pickup is available when offered at checkout. Please wait for a ready-for-pickup notification before visiting the store for an online order.

Returns and Order Problems

What is your return window?

Eligible purchases may be returned within 30 days. In-store returns require the receipt. Online and local-pickup returns require the order number or order confirmation. Product exclusions and other requirements are listed in our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

What should I do if an item arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact us within seven calendar days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the item, packaging, and shipping label so we can review the issue.

Products and Product Information

Will natural crystals and minerals look identical to the photograph?

No. Natural stone can vary in color, pattern, clarity, inclusions, shape, and size. Product pages identify whether the photograph shows the exact item or a representative example when that distinction applies.

Do metaphysical products guarantee a particular result?

No. Traditional, spiritual, symbolic, or cultural associations are provided for educational context and do not guarantee outcomes. Products and readings are not substitutes for medical, legal, financial, or other qualified professional advice.

How should I use herbs, incense, candles, oils, or smoke-cleansing products safely?

Follow the product label and product-page instructions. Use fireproof surfaces and appropriate ventilation, never leave burning products unattended, and keep products away from children and pets. Do not ingest a product unless it is expressly sold and labeled for ingestion.

Readings and Workshops

Do you offer in-store readings and workshops?

Yes. Available offerings may include tarot readings, palm readings, workshops, and classes. Pricing, duration, availability, and booking terms are shown on the relevant In-Store Readings & Workshops pages. Booked sessions and workshop spots are non-refundable.
