Order Processing

Most orders are prepared for shipment within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed. Processing time is separate from carrier transit time.

Orders are not processed or shipped on Sundays or U.S. holidays. High order volume, severe weather, product availability, address verification, or other unexpected circumstances may occasionally require additional processing time.

Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates

Available shipping methods, rates, and estimated delivery times are displayed at checkout based on the destination, package weight, package size, and available carrier services.

Free U.S. Economy shipping is available on eligible orders of $75 or more after discounts and before tax when that option is shown at checkout.

Delivery dates shown at checkout are estimates provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Selecting an expedited shipping method shortens expected carrier transit time but does not eliminate order processing time.

United States Shipping

American Occultist ships within the United States using carriers that may include:

• USPS
• UPS
• FedEx

The carrier used for a particular order may vary based on package requirements, destination, cost, service availability, and fulfillment needs.

Tracking Information

When tracking is available, it will be sent to the email address or phone number associated with the order after the shipping label is created. Tracking activity may not appear immediately and can take time to update after the carrier receives the package.

Local Pickup

When local pickup is available at checkout, wait until you receive a ready-for-pickup notification before coming to the store.

Bring your order confirmation and identification that matches the pickup name. Pickup is available during posted business hours. Local pickup orders do not incur a shipping charge.

The return window for a local pickup order begins on the date the order is collected. See our Returns & Exchanges Policy for complete eligibility and proof-of-purchase requirements.

Address Accuracy and Changes

Customers are responsible for entering a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Review the apartment or suite number, street address, city, state, postal code, and contact information before submitting the order.

Contact us as soon as possible if an address correction is needed. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered processing or has shipped.

Additional shipping charges caused by an incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable address may be the customer’s responsibility.

Delayed, Lost, or Missing Shipments

Carrier delays can occur because of weather, service interruptions, high-volume periods, customs processing, or other circumstances outside our control.

If tracking shows no movement for an unusual period, contact the carrier and email contact.us@americanoccultist.store with your order number. We will assist with available carrier information and any applicable claim process.

If tracking shows that a package was delivered but it cannot be located, first check the delivery area, household members, neighbors, building staff, and any location noted in the carrier’s tracking details. You may also be asked to complete our delivery verification process before a claim can be reviewed.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If a shipped item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery. Include your order number and clear photographs of the item, packaging, shipping label, and any visible damage.

Keep the item and all packaging until we provide instructions. After review, we may offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or another appropriate resolution in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

International Shipping

American Occultist ships to select international destinations when service is available at checkout. International shipping methods, rates, and estimated delivery times are calculated based on the destination and package details.

International delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Customs processing, local postal services, border inspections, weather, and other circumstances may cause additional delays.

Customs, Duties, and Import Taxes

International orders may be subject to customs duties, VAT, import taxes, brokerage charges, or other fees imposed by the destination country.

• These charges are not included in the product price or shipping total unless expressly shown at checkout.
• American Occultist does not control or estimate charges imposed by foreign governments, customs agencies, carriers, or brokers.
• The customer is responsible for applicable import charges and compliance with local import rules.

Refused, Unclaimed, or Returned Shipments

Orders that are refused, unclaimed, returned by customs, or returned because of an incorrect or incomplete address may be subject to return shipping charges, carrier fees, customs charges, and any other costs incurred.

Any refund eligibility will be determined after the package is received and inspected and will be governed by our Returns & Exchanges Policy. Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable.

International Returns

International orders are final sale unless an item arrives damaged or incorrect. Report a damaged or incorrect international order within 7 calendar days after delivery and provide clear photographic documentation.
