Choose your size
Standard 3 × 3-inch editions
The standard size is compact, portable, and compatible with the Sigil Forge Companion Holder. Classic, Cypher, Chaos, Codex Ordinem, and Codex Discordia are available in this size.
Six-inch editions
The 6-inch editions provide a larger working and display surface. They use the same corresponding construction method as the standard Classic, Cypher, or Chaos edition, but they are not compatible with the Companion Holder.
Best beginner setup
For the simplest first purchase, begin with the Classic Edition and add the Companion Holder. Classic keeps the full alphabet in familiar order, while the Companion stabilizes the standard plate during tracing and construction.
Individual value: $18.90. A dedicated Starter Set is also available within the Sigil Forge collection when in stock.
Complete system: Master Set
The Sigil Forge Master Set includes Classic, Cypher, Chaos, Codex Ordinem, Codex Discordia, and the Companion Holder.

Useful additions
- Mini Ritual Scrolls for petitions, intentions, notes, and finished symbolic designs.
- Arcane Ritual Chest to consider for storing small tools and related supplies.
- Triple Moon Pentacle Box to consider for altar storage and keepsakes.
Frequently asked questions
What tool should I buy to create sigils?
For most beginners, the Classic Edition is the clearest starting point because it uses the full alphabet in order. Choose another edition when its layout better matches your preferred reduction or encoding method.
What is the difference between Classic, Cypher, and Chaos?
Classic uses the full alphabet in order. Cypher uses the full alphabet in a scrambled order. Chaos uses a scrambled consonant grid and is suited to methods that remove vowels.
What is the difference between Codex Ordinem and Codex Discordia?
Both are numerical systems using digits 0–9. Ordinem keeps the digits in order; Discordia scrambles their positions.
Which editions fit the Companion Holder?
The Companion fits the five standard 3 × 3-inch editions: Classic, Cypher, Chaos, Codex Ordinem, and Codex Discordia. It does not fit the 6-inch editions.
What does the Master Set include?
It includes all five standard 3 × 3-inch Forge plates plus one Companion Holder.
Does Sigil Forge activate or charge a sigil?
No. Sigil Forge supports the mechanical construction of a symbolic design. Activation, charging, interpretation, and use depend on the practitioner's chosen method or tradition, and no outcome is guaranteed.
What are the standard plates made from?
The standard plates are manufactured from durable plastic with a non-porous surface suitable for repeated handling.
