Traditional associations & use

When practitioners may choose it

Choose it for tarot readings, shadow reflection, gothic display, or contemplation of attachment, desire, materiality, boundaries, and self-examination.

Traditional role in practice

The Devil XV imagery provides a tarot-centered visual backdrop for attachment, desire, materiality, shadow, choice, and self-examination without implying literal prediction.

Suggested application

Lay flat for readings or altar arrangements, or hang securely for display. Keep flames and hot ritual items away from the textile.

Commonly paired with

Tarot decks, shadow-focused journaling, relationship or habit reflection, gothic décor, meditation, and symbolic study.

Traditional, metaphysical, and symbolic associations vary by source and practice; they are presented as spiritual or cultural reference rather than guaranteed outcomes.

Care & considerations

Care instructions

Keep clean and dry. Fold or roll gently for storage and follow any attached textile care label if present. Keep wax, oils, incense ash, and staining materials off the fabric when possible.

Safety and handling

Keep the cloth and loose edges away from open flames, hot candle holders, charcoal, incense embers, and other ignition sources.

The Devil, in black and red. This 30 × 40-inch tarot cloth depicts two skeletal figures framed by fine botanical ornament, with XV above and THE DEVIL below. It makes a striking backdrop for tarot, a tabletop cloth for card spreads, or a piece of gothic wall art.

Use the Devil card's imagery as a prompt for reflecting on attachment, desire, habit, and choice—or display it simply because the artwork speaks to you.

You receive: One The Devil XV tapestry; cards, mounting hardware, and display accessories are not included.
Size: 30 × 40 inches.
Design: Red print on black cloth, featuring two skeletal figures and the XV tarot designation.

Care: Follow any attached textile care label; fold or roll gently for storage. Keep away from flames, incense embers, candle wax, oils, and ash.
