Commonly paired with

Pairs with prayer, devotion, remembrance, offerings, meditation, purification symbolism, and sacred-space preparation.

Care & considerations

Care instructions

Keep resin dry and tightly closed between uses. Store away from heat, moisture, children, pets, and ignition sources.

Safety and handling

Burn only a small amount at a time on lit charcoal in a stable charcoal-safe burner with a screen or bed of sand on a heat-resistant surface. Use with ventilation, never leave burning charcoal unattended, keep away from children, pets, drafts, and flammable materials, and allow charcoal and burner to cool completely before handling or disposal.

Details & use

Frankincense and myrrh have shared ceremonial spaces for generations, but each brings a different aromatic character. This Forgotten Essence blend puts them together in one package for the person who prefers that traditional pairing over a single resin.

You'll receive one ounce of the frankincense-and-myrrh blend. Use it with equipment meant for burning loose resin, not a regular stick holder. The burner and charcoal become very hot, so protect the surface beneath, ventilate, and remain present until fully cooled.
